THE Cutloose. This car was built by my brother Darryl Harvey who bought it in 85 or 86. He was the second owner and replaced the 6 banger with a 350 Chevy small block bored .30 over with aluminum goodies and a good lick-hittin cam with Rhodes lifters. A Holley 600 kept the fuel pumping. Turbo 350 tranny with a nice shift kit so that second would easily bark the tires when just pulling out normally. Yeah..THAT'S WHY you need a shift kit! :) Stock gear in the rear since I drove it every day...sometimes ALL day. He had it painted slick "Dark Claret" with lots of clear coat. I kept this car clean for him because I loved it! After begging my brother to sell it to me since he never drove it much, he finally sold it to me in March of 1994. The day I called it my own was one of the best days of my life. It became part of me. I sold the car in May of 2001...possibly the saddest day of my life. I miss this car more than anyone can ever know or understand.
